Un projet EDD original pour ne plus être fashion victim!

Mrs Hayne a proposé aux élèves de 203 de mettre en place un défilé de mode sustainable (durable), où 80% des vêtements (visibles) doivent être chinés, prêtés, recyclés, upcyclés etc…

Les élèves de la classe ont bien sûr préparé un « fashion commentary » en anglais.

De nombreuses compétences mises en oeuvre

• la créativité en associant des vêtements collectés au fil de leurs découvertes;
• le sens du détail à travers la sélection d’accessoires;
• la gestion du stress tout en défilant devant un public nombreux;
• un travail sur l’image de soi en acceptant de montrer pleinement sa personnalité;
• la concertation pour se mettre d’accord sur une musique commune;
• une compétence linguistique en proposant au micro un commentaire en anglais.

Alya’s outfit commentary

I’d like to introduce you to A. who will be parading her incredible second hand outfit!

Let’s start with the famous cap, taken from her father, in navy blue; with the logo of a boat from New Caledonia!

Then we have a top taken from her grand-father – she helped herself! It’s brown and a bit aged. It’s incredible!

She’s also got a pair of cargo pants from her mother, that she sewed to her size, in beige and grey. TOO NICE!!

For her birthday, A. got some nice pink trainers, bought on the Vinted app.
She’s carrying a bag in a nice white and navy blue colour.

A very nice second hand outfit!
